Our History
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia (CEI) is a Limited Liability Company which happens to be Pemegang Izin Usaha Jasa Pertambangan (IUJP) was established under the laws in force in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in 2014 is domiciled at Raya Pasar Minggu Kav.16 L’Avenue Office Tower 12th Floor A, Pancoran, South Jakarta.
In 2015, we had first step in providing mining services at PT Karya Bumi Baratama as the holder of the PKP2B Permit located in Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province. In its development until 2022, CEI has obtained 5 mining service contracts located in Jambi and Central Kalimantan Provinces.
We conducted comprehensive mining work starting from land clearing, overburden removal, coal getting, coal hauling and reclamation. Every mining activity that we do is held professionally by each of our employees who have high integrity, innovation and experience in the mining sector. Furthermore, we are also supported by the latest heavy equipment provided from various types of brands, covering Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Scania, Mercedes and Sany.

ISO ACCREDITATION 9001:2015 by UKAS
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia as a contractor in mining service. CEI has received ISO 9001:2015 certification which was legalized by The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) on …. of August 2022. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is one of the business management systems that is well-acknowledged in the worldwide. We strive to fulfill customer quality requirements, to comply with regulations in Government Regulations, State Laws or regulations derived from customers in an aim of achieving goals or general responsibility in the environmental aspects.
We also provide soft skills training about Awareness and Internal Auditor Training related to the Quality Management System in the ISO 9001:2015. It is based on ISO 19011:2018 for employees, ranging from supervisory level to managerial level.
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is a management system that functions to control and direct our company in an aim of ensuring the grade and quality of our work yields in customer satisfaction.

Being one of the whole society and established a new family for PT CARITAS ENERGI INDONESIA. Whenever we run an operation or project, we always try to share and socialize with the people and society around the working place. The kindship and respect are always involved in every socialization process with the people within the society.

- Occupational Safety and Health
- Preparing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, visitors, relevant third parties and the public through the implementation of necessary procedures and training in operational activities and emergencies;
- Complying the regulations/laws and other requirements regarding occupational safety and health to the extent of being practicable in terms of implementing programs that go beyond regulatory requirements;
- Improving employee training programs, competencies, and awareness in the sense of Occupational Safety Management System;
- Eliminating, preventing, or minimizing the risk of work and injury, reduction to work accidents and occupational diseases (PAK), damage to the environment, and optimization of the use of resources.

This commitment is required to be implemented and to be obeyed by employees with an aim of achieving the target of zero accident, zero illness, zero property damage & zero environmental damage with 100% compliance towards laws and regulations. This review is conducted periodically by management in an aim to ensure this policy is adhered to and is implemented.
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia is a company worked under the mining services. PT Caritas Energi Indonesia holds a commitment to conduct its operational activities by referring to the applicable procedures in the Environmental Management System, as well as being a good partner for the community around the operational area of PT Caritas Energi Indonesia.
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia is based on the principle of mutual respect. The mutual respect will always uphold values found in local wisdom values which are in line with sustainable development, applicable legal provisions, and overall organizational integration.
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia actualizes these commitments and principles through the establishment of operational policies, covering an establishment of policies in Community Development and Empowerment or Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) in Indonesian term through programs, namely:
- Involving human resources in PT Caritas Energi Indonesia activities, especially at the project site (if needed).
- Maintaining and preserving the environment at the head office and the project site (site).
PT Caritas Energi Indonesia, through the PPM program above, holds a commitment to create an independent, intelligent, and prosperous society in a sustainable environment.
In actualizing this, the existence and continuity of PT Caritas Energi Indonesia’s operational activities must be jointly maintained by all stakeholders, especially those who worked in the operational areas that are derived from both internal and external sides of the company.
In implementing the best practices of managing the environment with avoidable impacts and mitigate unavoidable waste reduction and in handling of Hazardous and Toxic Materials (B3), PT Caritas Energi Indonesia has a commitment to manage the reduction and to handle the Hazardous and Toxic (B3) and Non-B3 Solid Waste by:
- Identifying and assessing the opportunities for reduction and utilization of Hazardous and Toxic Materials (B3) and Non-B3 Solid Waste through benchmark, measurement, and documentation related to the produced B3 waste and Non-B3 Solid Waste;
- Implementing waste management measures in accordance with the hierarchy of B3 waste management and Non-B3 Solid Waste under the basis of applicable laws and regulations;
- Conducting review and continuous improvement towards the management of B3 waste and Non-B3 Solid Waste.
This policy statement is directed to the Management and all employees under PT Caritas Energi Indonesia, covering the work partners and sub-partners, to be implemented as well as possible.
To implement the best practices of managing the environment through the prevention of the avoidable impacts and the mitigation of the unavoidable related emissions of conventional gases and greenhouse gases, PT Caritas Energi Indonesia is committed to manage the emission reductions in air pollution by:
- Identifying, controlling, and developing a management system for reducing air pollution.
- Implementing an air pollutant reduction measures through the process of efficiency.
- Conducting a review and continuous improvement of air pollution reduction measures.
This policy statement is directed to the management and all employees within PT Caritas Energi Indonesia and its partners to be implemented as well as possible..
Everyone is aware that the company has a drug testing program that is currently ongoing and will remain in enacted for a lifetime. A positive result of a drug test is a serious problem and employees can be suspended, terminated, or filed to the Authorities and their families. The same policy applies to alcohol abuse as well.
The policy will be done within the company’s drug and alcohol screening program and will be able to be processed in further tests or interviews of people who involved in drug or alcohol use.
You will notice that the company has a strict policy towards the practice of NO DRUGS AND NO ALCOHOL.
We expect all employees to understand these following aspects in regards to what will happen to people who are tested positive for drugs or alcohol:
- Interview with Authorities (Police) and Management
- Employees are required to make a written and verbal commitment to stop all drug or alcohol abuse
- Suspension for 1 week with payment (minimum fine)
- Random checks are done when it is necessary and are resulting in dismissal and criminal charges being filed with the police for endangering the lives of other employees
- If employees’ test is negative, then they will be allowed to return to work immediately and they are targeted for more randomized testing. The company will increase random drug tests to employees
- Anyone who are involved in the occurrence of accidents with heavy equipment and transportation equipment with maintenance problems should have a drug and alcohol test done immediately. This will be coordinated by Direct Supervisor, Manager, Safety Staff or HR Staff
Carrying drugs is against the law in Indonesia and company policy. PT Caritas Energi Indonesia commands all employees to follow the law and not to bring drugs. If someone has information about people within the company who take, consume, or sell drugs, then you are required to report it and to talk to us in order to protect yourself and other employees.
We are committed to a drug and alcohol-free environment for PT Caritas Energi Indonesia.

To achieve these objectives and goals, all levels of management and employees of PT Caritas Energi Indonesia will:
- Prioritize road safety by complying with traffic regulations and drive in accordance to the safety rules set by the company.
- Practice safe, scathe-less, efficient, responsible and ethical in driving behavior, such as:
- Obeying the principle of “Engine On, Handphone Off”
- Not driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol
- Always wearing a seat belt while driving
- Obeying all road signs and markings as well as the maximum speed limit and always ensuring a safe distance between vehicles
- Always being aware of the behavior of other drivers
- Always drive in a ready and healthy condition.
- Take an active role in campaigning for driving safety.
All management lines, workers, and partners of PT Caritas Energi Indonesia are required to be aware and to be concerned that driving is a job which requires concentration and full responsibility; thus, they are required to behave and to contribute an active role in applying the principles of driving safety.
